It looks like the Xbox One may get a dedicated media remote after all.
The lack of a dedicated remote (not a game controller) was a curious decision for a console that is billed as an entertainment hub for the living room. Even with its powerful voice commands via the Kinect, the Xbox One was missing a basic remote for basic navigation by non-gamers.
Amazon Canada briefly leaked a media remote for the Xbox One. The listing showed a March 4 release date for the remote with a price of $24.99, which could put the US price point at the same or perhaps as low as $19.99.
If the March 4 release date is legit, we should see something more official from Microsoft in the next couple weeks.
